YourFeed is under development. This is a working pre-v1 site. Some pages describe possibilities, not settled decisions.

Design Philosophy

The distributed architecture should not require a distributed-feeling user experience.

Use the grammar people already understand

A vertical chronological stream, clear author identity, timestamps, text and media, permalinks, compose/publish actions, and visible conversation are familiar patterns worth keeping.

Consistency across independent sites

YourFeed can provide a recognizable interface framework across installations while still allowing the publisher's own identity, imagery, biography, and restrained visual choices to come through.

Shared experience without shared platform.

What the interface does not need

Reaction counters, engagement scores, trending widgets, recommended posts, sponsored content, popularity badges, and an ever-expanding platform navigation shell are not prerequisites for a social feed.

Desktop first, not desktop only

The initial design can favor the room and clarity of a laptop or desktop while remaining fully usable and responsive on phones.
