A person may choose to share their feed with the YourFeed community. That is different from registering a feed with the network.
Optional means optional
A feed that never appears here should retain the same technical ability to publish, follow, reply, and interact as one that does.
Good language
“Share your feed with the community.” “Discover feeds people have chosen to share.”
Language to avoid
“Join the YourFeed network.” “Register your feed.” “Become a member to participate.”
A demonstration, not a registry
The community surface can help people discover examples and see the software in use. It may even run YourFeed itself. But it does not define membership in anything.
No functionality tax
Being listed should confer no protocol privilege, ranking advantage, identity proof, or special interoperability.
