YourFeed is under development. This is a working pre-v1 site. Some pages describe possibilities, not settled decisions.

A Quieter Social Experience

Some of the most important YourFeed features may be the machinery it deliberately does not build.

Traditional social platforms have accumulated mechanisms for measuring, ranking, retaining, and monetizing attention. YourFeed begins with a smaller question: what does a useful social feed actually need?

Deliberate omissions

No advertising system

No ad inventory, targeting engine, sponsored-post marketplace, or incentive to maximize time-on-site.

No reaction economy

No likes, reaction counts, popularity scores, or engagement totals as a core part of the experience.

No algorithmic ranking

The default feed is chronological. A publisher should not need to reverse-engineer a ranking algorithm to reach people who chose to follow them.

No data-broker model

The project is not organized around harvesting behavioral profiles for sale or targeting.

What this does not promise

YourFeed cannot guarantee that a person will never live inside an information bubble. People can still choose to follow only voices they agree with. The distinction is that YourFeed does not require an opaque recommendation engine engineered around engagement to construct that bubble for them.

Limited on purpose

Compared with large social platforms, YourFeed may look noticeably limited. There may be no events, groups, pages, reaction systems, direct-message universe, or endless layers of account types. That limitation is not automatically a deficiency.

Social media without the slot machine.

Workshop language, not necessarily a final tagline.
